Weekend trip to Fillmore

Though we went up Monday, we didn't have any time to visit with family, but we were already planning to go up on the weekend anyway. We miss our favorite Mexican food at La Cabana. We've tried many, but none compares to theirs.

While Tracy was back at the house resting, Pop took Peter out to see the progress on Levi's house. It's a 2 bdr 1 bath, out near Piru. The house is coming along nicely. Above is a view of the living room, and below, the outside with a great view of the porch. There was no porch the last time we went out there. Looks like it's gonna be real nice.

Before dinner we took a nice refreshing dip in the pool, and the boys came over to join us. Gregory went in, but Adam prefered to sit in Pop's chair and watch. Just before we all left, Spring, Hope and Tracy took pics together. Tracy is due in October, Spring in November, and Hope in December.

When we got back, we had fun hanging out with family by the pool, and enjoyed some home made ice cream...until we started getting eaten alive by mosquitoes.

Molly and Skip saying goodbye.
Sunday morning before we headed out to church.

Just look at that face! Skip really didn't want Molly to leave.
"Please don't take my sister away. Can I come too?"

We had a great service at One At a Time Church.
The band always gets church off to a good start!

Mom H. and Chuck, a long time member. He lead us all in a great time of singing and worship.

Brother Vernon reading from the Psalms.

Fidencio is the pastor of the spanish service that meets here earlier in the morning.

Pop asked if Peter would lead us in prayer.

Mom H. reading from a devotional.

Tracy singing the song she wrote, "Anxious for Nothing".

Pop's sermon 'The Watchmen on the Wall', from Ezekiel 33:1-9.

At the end of the service, Pop asked Chuck to finish us off with another song or two. Tracy decided to join in with some harmonies.
