Saturday, the phone company was out by the house and up and down the street all day. One guy told me that he couldn't do his part until all the lines were in place and maybe Peter would have a phone by Monday morning. Well that just would not do. Peter talked to one of the others who said they could run a temporary line to his house until they completed all the other work. The other residents didn't have phones, but Peter after 6 days was finally able to stay at home. Praise the Lord! He really does look out for us.

Wedding plans are coming along. The closer it gets, the more intense, but also the more fun. I know God has great things planned.

The Power is back on at Peter's house, but the phone lines are still down. Your continued prayers are appreciated, since all this has taken a few days out of the wedding planning. No worries though, we are still a go for the 4th.

Evacuation 10-22-07

Peter's truck loaded down, mostly with gifts received at the shower last weekend, and ready to evacuate.


What a day!!! The Ranch Fire made it's way through San Martinez Canyon, and swept right by...not throught but by... Peter's house. PRAISE THE LORD!!! The Fireman said it just seemed to go around the house. They didn't have to battle the blaze there. It almost seemed as if he was saying he didn't know why...well we do. Thanks for all your prayers. All the houses in his canyon were spared except for a few 'out structures' as they call them (sheds etc.). We will keep you posted. Peter still doesn't have power at his house, or phones, but we will see tomorrow. For now all is well.

Tracy and Peter are going to be married on Nov. 4th, 2007. We have watched God bring us together in every way and look forward to being united as one. We know how important it is to keep Christ first in everything we do. Matthew 6:33 "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you".
