The tests came back inconclusive, so they decided to treat her for heart disease. We got her some meds, and gave them to her for several days. At first she seemed to improve. She had more energy, and it was easier for her to breath. We kept an eye on her, and after a couple days she was back to looking sick again. When she stopped eating, we decided it was time to take her in. This was one of the most difficult things we have had to do. We will be able to bring her home in a few days, after her private cremation, so we can bury her.
Muffin and Sampson enjoying the windowsill. They didn't have a place to look out like this in our old place unless we left the door open, so this is a special treat for them.
Enjoying a nice back scratch together. We love you sweet Muffin!

Very sweet but also sad. I wish I could have seen her one last time but maybe this way was easier. I hope Samson will get along okay. Just give him lots of special attention. Thanks for sharing pics they are really nice.
